You Have To Work Up A Sweat If You Want To Get Fit

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Okay boys and girls, enough is enough! You’ve downloaded a couple of dozen e-books, spent money on a CD course or three and joined your local gym. Now you’re complaining because you’re still flabby and overweight. Guess what? That’s because you don’t get fit by spending money: You get fit by working out!

Boys - did you expect to magically look like the guy on the cover of that ’six-pack abs’ e-book you bought just because you went to the trouble of printing it out and putting a staple through it? Six months have passed and pushing a staple gun is the most exercise you’ve gotten out of it. That was such a big chore that you had to lie down on the couch and read erotic comics.

Girls - what about that aerobics workout DVD you paid so much for. You waited in breathless anticipation until it came in the mail. Then you pulled out the DVD, popped it in the machine and sat down with a no calorie soft drink and watched it. The next day, you decided to watch it once more while you stuck some pictures in your Disney scrapbook. You haven’t seen it since.

As for that gym membership - they must love you there! You just pay them a bunch of money every month and maybe go in for a half-hearted warm-up on the exercise bike before you decide that you’re feeling a little run-down and better come back tomorrow.

They love you at the gym because like so many of their other members, you pay them for a service you never use. Your loss is their gain. You don’t cost them a dime, but continue to pay them big bucks for your gym membership.

How do you think people who actually get fit get that way? Do you think that like you, they just bought some books and DVD’s? You’ve got to burn calories to lose them. You’ve got to exercise your muscles to build them up. If you haven’t sweated and felt your muscles burn, you haven’t earned the right to have a personal massager. Just getting stressed by the thought of working out doesn’t entitle you to one! Stop whining and work out!

Have you got the picture yet? Stop complaining and get to work or just stop whining and get back to your comics and scrapbooks. If you really want to get fit, you’ll do it!

If Fitness Is Your Goal, You Will Have To Work A Little

Okay boys and girls, enough is enough! You’ve downloaded a couple of dozen e-books, spent money on a CD course or three and joined your local gym. Now you’re complaining because you’re still flabby and overweight. Guess what? That’s because you don’t get fit by spending money: You get fit by working out!

Guys, does this sound like you? You bought a ‘killer abs’ e-book and printed it out so you could have it by your side when you put it into practice. That was six months ago and the only real physical activity you’ve gotten out of it was when you pushed a staple through the pages. That was so exhausting that you had to take a break and sit down and read some erotic comics.

Gals, is this what you did? You ordered an aerobics workout DVD online. When it came in the mail, you popped it into the player and sat on the floor to study it once before you actually followed along. The next time you played it, you sat on the floor and worked on your disney scrapbook while it played in the background. You haven’t looked at it since.

If you want to make money easily, start a gym for people like yourselves. You religiously go in once a month and pay for your membership. On that day, since you’re already there, you decide to go for a spin on the exercise bike and then pump a little iron. After a few minutes on the bike, you decide you’d rather come back for a workout when you’re feeling a little better.

They must love you both at the gym. You make life so easy for them. You, along with so many others, pay them for something you don’t use. It costs them nothing to take your money and you give it to them so freely!

What you do with your body is nobody’s business but yours. Just keep it that way, okay? Stop whining about how nothing you’ve tried works. It doesn’t work if you don’t use it. You don’t lose weight by thinking about it and you don’t get strong by going to a personal massager. You do that after you’ve had a good weight training session and have earned a good massage. What ever made you think that having your flab massaged would make it go away?

If fitness is really your goal, you really will stop complaining and start doing something about it. Otherwise, just go back to your comics and scrapbooks.

Work Out, Feel Good, Look Great

There are many different reasons why people all over the world work out their bodies. Lets take a look at some of the main ones.

The first and most important reason why people like to work out and get exercise is to make sure that they stay fit and healthy for longer. If you are able to develop a lifestyle where you get regular exercise, then you are more likely to live longer and be less prone to different illnesses and medical problems. By maintaining a constantly healthy living lifestyle, your heart will stay more healthy, and so will your body. You will not be nearly as likely to end up suffering from some horrible medical problems when you get older.

Another reason to get exercise is not only for a healthy body but also for a healthy mind. Studies have shown that when you work out your body releases endorphins that act just like antidepressants and help you to have positive feelings. Therefore, if ever you are feeling low and depressed, the best thing you can do is simply head out for a run or a swim.

Of course, for many people, working out and keeping as fit as possible forms a massive part of their working life. Look at athletes, for example. They will all — in one form or another — get certain exercises and workouts that will help them to get to the top of their field in whatever they are trying to achieve and in whatever sport they are playing. Developing lean muscle growth is a great way to improve your sporting ability.

In the same way, servicemen, such as those in the military, are also required to lead extremely healthy lifestyles and to work out and keep fit in order to remain in peak physical form. There are many other professions that require this as well.

One final reason to consider is the positive effect it has on yourself and on other people. By this, I simply mean that when you work out, you feel good about yourself. It helps you to look great and be more attractive to other people, and this is another common reason for working out. In order to attract the opposite sex, we all like to look our best, and by working out, you can guarantee that this will be the case for you.

All of these are reasons why people like to work out and keep fit. If you need some help along the way then the best thing to do is to get yourself a personal trainer.

Supplementing Exercises For Muscle Building

Enhancing the body muscles by modification is the main task of bodybuilding. This is accomplished by intensive physical workouts. It was in the 19th century that bodybuilding emerged as a sport. The physique of the bodybuilder is displayed in public. It became a popular sport during the 1950s. Muscle training became a professionalized field. Bodybuilding combines weight training with elastic or hydraulic resistance. Specialized diet should follow workouts so that the required nutrients are made available for repairing the muscles and its growth.

Different training methods are adopted in bodybuilding. Strength is built up with a system of resistance to muscular contraction. This is called strength training. Muscle contraction is achieved with hydraulic or elastic or gravity forces. The elastic tension, weight or other resistance is steadily increased. Bodybuilding supplements are taken by bodybuilders, weight loss aspirants, those undergoing weight training and athletes. These supplements are taken to improve sports performance as well as to recover from tiring training and events. The real benefits from these supplements are debated. Sports have become overly commercialized. It has become a sector for investment. These are in the form of contracts, sponsorship and advertisements. Sports, which were all about sportsmanship and human endurance, have become a place where all that matters is winning. Chemical substances like anabolic steroids began to be used to improve performance. Their use became widely prevalent since the 1970s. This spread also to bodybuilding. Growth of the muscles was definitely impressive. But many who did not take these substances were disadvantaged. These substances were also hazardous to health. Many countries declared Anabolic steroid as a controlled substance. Many of these drugs were banned in sports. It became mandatory to carry out doping tests in sports so that steroids and other banned substances could be detected by testing blood and urine.

Bodybuilders require taking excess protein besides carbohydrate and fat. Food energy is required to repair and build up the muscles after training. This additional food energy can be obtained from natural diets. But there are also convenient specialized diet supplements to meet the additional energy needs. There are a range of products to choose from, some of which are Ny-Tro Pro-40, BSN Cell Mass, BSN No-Xplode, Purple Wraath and BSN Syntha-6. Users experience and reviewer comments can be accessed from the Internet by searching, for instance, BSN No-Xplode review for BSN No-Xplode.

Bodybuilding exercises stimulate the muscles. Sufficient rest as well as sleep is required for the growth of the muscles besides food supplement. Rest and sleep in adequate measure is essential for muscles building.

Protein, The Energy Power House

Protein, carbohydrates and fat are critical for bodybuilding. Meats, dairy products, nuts, eggs, legumes and grains are the common dietary source of protein. It is estimated that an adult female requires 46 grams of protein per day while adult males require 56 grams of protein per day to avoid a deficiency. This difference is due to the general difference in weight between them and male body has generally more weight mass than females.

The body continuously breaks down protein from the tissues. Adequate protein is vital for health. If the intake of protein is insufficient, the body will make use of the protein in the muscle mass to meet the energy requirements. This will lead to wasting away of the muscles. Protein intake should be more for those who is more physically active. Bodybuilders do require more protein than are ordinary persons.

Those who are involved in bodybuilding require additional protein besides carbohydrate and fat. During weight training and intense physical exercise, micro tears occur in the muscles. This requires food energy to recoup from the wearing out of the muscles. It is in this process that muscle build up occurs which requires adequate rest and additional food energy. Bodybuilders satisfy their additional energy needs from special diet supplements or food supplements. There are numerous products in the market which fulfill this requirement. Some of these products are Ny-Tro Pro-40, BSN Cell Mass, BSN No-Xplode, Purple Wraath and BSN Syntha-6. Users experience and reviewer comments can be accessed from the Internet by searching, for instance, BSN Syntha-6 review for BSN Syntha-6.

Excess protein consumption does not lead to problems as the body is not able to store this excess protein. Protein deficiency is widespread in developing countries and is a major cause of ill health and death. The major cause of protein deficiency is malnutrition. This leads to diseases such as kwashiorkor, and mental retardation. Though protein deficiency is rare in developed countries, yet it exists. This happens especially with people who are on a crash diet to lose weight or the elderly or those with poor diet or those who are recovering from trauma, surgery or illness.

Why Should You Take Protein Supplement?

A major constituent of our body is protein. The extent of protein in our body is about half the dry weight of the body. Protein is sourced largely from the natural diet. High protein can be obtained from chicken, fish, beef, lamb and legumes including lentils and beans. Amino acids are produced with the digestion of the proteins. These amino acids act as the source of energy. Some of the amino acids are also converted into hormones or are used in the production of new proteins. About 22 different amino acids go to make up protein. The number of amino acids in a protein could comprise of 50 to tens of thousands of amino acids. Amino acids are further categorized as non-essential and essential amino acids. The human body can make the non-essential amino acids while the food supplies essential amino acids.

The normal dietary intake of protein for women is 0.75 gram per kilogram of body weight where as for adult men it is 0.84 gram per kilogram of body weight. The weight and age of the person determines the extent of protein needed. The major source of protein are poultry, meat, eggs, fish, seeds and nuts, dairy products, soy products, beans and lentils, and grains principally wheat.

The athletes as well as bodybuilders undergo a tough training. Excess protein may be taken to recover from the training and for muscle repair. Twice of what the less active people take is recommended as a reasonable excess protein intake. But there are those bodybuilders who take much more protein than this. It is generally believed that excess protein consumption does not do any harm. But then people with kidney, overweight and diabetes problems are advised not to take excess protein as this may be harmful. Additional intake of protein is heavily promoted by the powdered protein supplementary industry. These are costly when natural food such as skim milk is a cheaper source of protein. Some of the products marketed include Ny-Tro Pro-40, BSN No-Xplode, BSN Cell Mass, BSN Syntha-6 and Purple Wraath bodybuilding.

Some weight trainers and bodybuilding coaches do recommend a protein intake of 40 percent along with 40 percent carbohydrate and 20 percent fat. A 4000 calorie which is reasonable for bodybuilders will with this ratio mean an intake of four times the recommended dietary intake which is double of what is acceptable.

An Overview Of Bodybuilding

Bodybuilding involves the modification of the body. This involves intensive muscle hypertrophy. The bodybuilders often involve in bodybuilding competition where they display their body to a panel of judges who then assess their physique. The bodybuilder reveals the muscles though a combination of fat loss, and tanning with oils to make the muscles prominent for purpose of the display. One of the ways of bodybuilding is to undergo weight training. This is also called as microtrauma. The weight training leads to micro-tears in the muscle the repair of which results in muscle growth. Initially there is soreness, but with regular workouts the soreness decreases if not disappears. Bodybuilders need more protein and energy to support their training and to increase the muscle mass. They need more calories. This is for repair and growth of muscles. The nutrition is provided by specialized diets. This food energy is supplied by a diet of carbohydrates, protein and fats depending upon the needs of the bodybuilder.

Carbohydrates have an important role as it provides the energy to carry out the rigorous exercises and subsequent recovery. The carbohydrates preferred by the bodybuilder are the slow digesting carbohydrates which release the energy steadily and in a more stable fashion. These are the low-glycemic polysaccharides. The high-glycemic sugars and starches actually store the food energy as fat rather than muscle wasting the energy that could have been channeled to the growth of the muscle. After a workout, bodybuilders should take quickly digesting sugars to stimulate muscle protein synthesis and to restock glycogen stores in the muscle.
The vital ingredient in the diet for a bodybuilder is protein. The diet is to be taken during the workout and after as also throughout the day. The recommended protein intake is 1 gram to 2 or more grams. The food items rich in proteins include chicken, pork, beef, eggs, fish, some nuts, dairy foods, beans, seeds and lentils. Protein milkshake is the popular protein supplement consumed by bodybuilders. It is a mixture of protein powder with milk. The most commonly used protein supplement is whey protein. Their absorption is easy and fast and they have a higher Biological Value. Another major source of protein is Soy but is usually not preferred due to its estrogenic properties despite the fact that this is weak. There are protein meal replacements such as Ny-Tro Pro-40, BSN No-Xplode, BSN Cell Mass, BSN Syntha-6 and Purple Wraath.

Food intake by bodybuilders is at shorter intervals of about 2 or 3 hours. The number of meals taken ever day is between 5 to 7. This is also to make sure that the basal metabolic rate increases and also to limit excessive consumption of food.

How to Build Strong Muscles

You feel like you’ve done everything in order to burn the fat, feed the muscle tissue you’ve always wanted. In fact, you don’t know yourself what results to expect. If weight is your current problem, you must learn how to turn into muscles. A personal trainer can only target your problems if he knows where to start. You must decide if you want to develop muscles or loose weight, because the two concepts are different. Trying to lose extra pounds will not necessarily strengthen your muscles if you don’t do it right.

When a man usually goes to a fitness facility, he has in mind the following objectives:

1.Weight loss

If you’ve never been to a gym before, you should start exercises series which consist of subsequent exercises. You can take small brakes between series and then repeat the series again, for a few times.

You should try to make two exercises in each series for each muscle group in the body.

2. Developing muscular tissue

Most men are recommended exercises which permit them to proceed with about 8 repetitions in each series. You can do them in the classic way, meaning you make a series, you rest for about 60 seconds, and then make a new series and so on until you’ve done your sets and are ready for the next exercise.

For those who are more experienced, the harder sets are recommended. You can, under these circumstances, pair two groups of muscles and work on them into each series. Usually, the first exercise will include a composed move witch will imply more muscles, and the second one will be an exercise that will insolate a sole muscular group. If it’s difficult to maintain a steady routine, reading burn the fat reviews can really clear the fog.

3. Burn the fat, feed the muscle and be strong

There is no unknown secret here: only heavy weights, few repetitions (3-5 of each series). Since the exercises sets are harder and require more effort, the brakes between them should be of about 4 minutes.

Still you don’t have to do each exercise this way. You can start with few repetitions for the main moves, then do more repetitions with smaller fitness weights. Also, between less important exercises the brakes you are allowed are smaller.
